What is DAF Renewal Payment by USSD?

This is a payment option for banked subscribers to renew their DAF from their phones.

Do I need a smartphone and/or data to use Payment by USSD?
Can I use Payment by USSD if I do not have a bank account?
Can I use Payment by USSD if I have a bank account but do not have money in my account?
Can I use Payment by USSD if my bank account is dormant?
I have an active bank account and enough money to pay for my DAF renewal but I do not have a USSD Pin.

How to use USSD?

If you have an active First Bank Account, have registered for USSD services and have at least N1500 to pay your DAF renewal
  • Dial*894*89413142*1500#
  • On the prompt, enter your BoxID
  • On the prompt, input your USSD PIN
  • Your account will be debited and you should receive a debit alert from your bank once the payment is confirmed.
  • Your set top box should resume service within 10 minutes of completing this transaction.
  • In the event that service does not resume within 20 minutes of receiving your payment confirmation, kindly contact us to request a refresh. Please call 0700388727 or SMS RF + your Box ID to 0905 141 1500.
If you have an active account in Access, Citibank, Ecobank, FCMB, Fidelity, Jaiz, Keystone, Polaris, Stanbic, Standard Chartered, Union, Unity or Zenith bank; have registered for USSD services and have at least N1500 to pay your DAF renewal
